From Dated to Dreamy: A Stunning Severna Park Remodel
Our clients moved into their dream neighborhood in October 2020. While the home had been well maintained, the layout didn’t quite fit the needs of their busy family life. At the top of their wish list:
A landing zone to catch the daily clutter of jackets, backpacks, and more
A larger, open-concept kitchen ideal for entertaining
A laundry room relocated from the basement to the second floor
A reimagined guest bath with better flow
An updated screened-in porch — complete with a fireplace and the option to enclose it

Our Professional, Perfected Process
This project spanned two floors and included a full reworking of key spaces:
Relocating the basement door and reconfiguring the powder room
Expanding and reimagining the kitchen
Opening up the family room for a more connected living space
Converting a former linen closet into an upstairs laundry room
Reworking the guest bathroom layout
Enclosing the screened porch and adding a cozy, statement fireplace
With so many moving parts, decision fatigue is common — but that’s where we come in. From finish selections to countertop choices to a custom kitchen layout, we guided the design process to ensure each space felt cohesive, intentional, and truly reflective of the family’s lifestyle.
Our Custom, Completed Creation
The heart of the home is now a bright white and white oak kitchen, anchored by a spacious island and bar — a perfect hub for entertaining. The open-concept design allows for easy flow between rooms while maintaining warmth and character.
But the true showstopper? The three-season porch. With its floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and cozy vibe, it’s become the go-to spot for relaxing with a book or enjoying a quiet moment with coffee in hand.

Our clients couldn’t be happier with the transformation. They’re finally able to host with ease — and that once-uncertain porch addition? It’s now their favorite place in the house.
The new custom front cabinetry also solved their long-standing “landing zone” issue. What was once a daily frustration is now a practical (and beautiful) focal point near the home’s entrance.
